Zimbabweans may vote for a white president in 2023

HARARE, Zimbabwe. (News of the South) Desperate Zimbabweans who are now increasingly thinking that Ian Douglas Smith was economically wiser than the current government may elect a white man to be president in 2023.
Former rancher, Darryl Collett has emerged to lead the newly formed The Patriotic Front and is set to contest President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the 2023 elections.
The newly formed party The Patriotic Front on Saturday announced its founding National Executive Committee set to lead The Third Way until at least its official launch.
Collett, a 73-year-old businessman, is former owner of Mjingwe Ranch, a lucrative wildlife ranch in Masvingo’s Mwenezi district.
Mjingwe Ranch in the Bubye Conservancy was one of the many conservancies that were invaded by war veterans across the country since the turn of the century.
In a statement, the Patriotic Front said the party’s National coordinators made the resolutions at its meeting held on Thursday evening:
“True to the party’s multiracial, multi-ethnic approach of uniting Zimbabweans towards finding lasting solutions to the country’s multifaceted crisis, TPF elected a structure which is a blend of races, ethnic groups, youth and experience.”
The party resolved to economically emancipate and empower people in their communities while also trying to restore national, regional and international confidence in Zimbabwe.
The leadership comprises business leaders, economic experts, technocrats, politicians and community leaders.
Zimbabweans across the globe have expressed their shock as to how fellow Zimbabweans can think the white man can resolve the country’s problems. Zimbabwe’s problem solving lies within black Zimbabweans and fulfilling outstanding cultural ceremonies and making proper use of the land and natural resources.
