Europe and the conceptual West are the masters of deceit and double standards. Filled with unbridled avarice and kleptomania the former colonizer has taken a subtle way to sabotage Zimbabweans, the have dissected the Zimbabwean Economy through the bullets and canisters from the barrels of illegal and illegitimate Economic sanctions.
One may wonder and ponder gingerly without being decolonial if the Sanctions smeared on Zimbabwe are real, I, as a scribe dare submit to the Zimbabwean masses without any fear of contradictions that, Sanctions are real and panacious to the core.
Zimbabwe is unable to trade with the whole Community of nations, then how can our economy grow without foreign direct investment. It’s a miracle that Professor Mtuli Ncube can still hold our economy intact in a sanctioned Zimbabwe, Mthuli is an Economic Messiah.
Sanctions are haemorrhaging our economy hence affecting the livelihoods of many innocent Zimbabweans.
To prove beyond and shadow of political doubt that European sanctions are a direct violation of Human rights is the economic ripple effects of sanctions on human rights .
1. Zimbabwe cannot trade in the community of nations hence less revenue for he government to improve the health sector, due to the lack of revenue Zimbabweans are denied to the right to health.
2.Zimbabwean students are refused access to some scholarships in the conceptual west, due to the illegitimate and illegal sanctions hence these. sanctions are a direct violation to the right to education.
3. Without foreign direct investment and Economic expansion, both problems as the ramifications of Western imposed Sanctions, Zumbabwe cannot generate funds to keep up with it’s wage bill, workers and labour benefits. From the aforementioned factors one can logically cement that the western imposed sanctions are causing mayhem, pandemonium and hullabaloo for the common Zimbabwean folk.
Sanctions have denied ordinary Zimbabweans of all the in-allianable rights in the Universal Declaration of Human rights.
What Zimbabweans find boggling is the ignorance and the pansive stance taken by the United nations to defend Zimbabweans from the ruthless and rapacious Western Imperialists.
One wonders and ponders as to why the United Nations is still doing research on our penury, they have taken it as a research issue which requires didacticism and empricism …Hey Sanctions are hurting us!!!!
We hear via various news avenues that , the United Nations will be sending a messianic researcher to assess the impact of Sanctions on us…varikuuya kuzoona kuti pavakatiroya paya pakashanda here….
We hope and and wish the envoy will view Zimbabwe through the lenses our loci of enunciation can not through a mirror that has been the fractured by coloniality
