Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)-A South Africa hunter who was crushed to death by an elephant has earned the ire of various social media members who have been gloating that he got what he deserved.
Theunis Botha 51, who was a professional hunter, was crushed to death by the female elephant in Gwai after the group of elephants numbering four charged at him.
According to reports the elephant picked up Botha in her trunk after he fired at the others and collapsed on top of him, crushing him to death, after she was shot by another hunter.
However opponents of big game hunting have offered little sympathy following his tragic death.
