Harare, Zimbabwe (News of The South) Zimbabwe is a spiritual country and has 12 original Chiefs who are known as the owners of the land.
When the British colonised Zimbabwe from 1890 Zimbabweans were led by spiritual leaders who gave guidance on what to do and how to fight for the land. During that whole period the 1st and 2nd Chimurenga spiritual guidance was followed and led to Zimbabwe’s Independence. <
The spirit medium Nehanda played a very important role and was respected back then unlike todsy where Zimbabweans mock Nehanda and take the tradition and culture as some silly cheap joke. For those who follow Zimbabwean history instructions given by Nehanda were not all followed thats why the problems bedevlling Zimbabwe can never be resolved. At the moment Zimbabwe is very unstable with so much going on and tension is mounting everyday and most people are waiting to see what happens next. One thing Zimbabweans know is that something big is about to happen. A few months ago I wrote about " Mukuyazviyo" the spiritual snake at Mukuvisi river and explained that something was about to happen and the sighting of Mukuyazviyo signalled something coming up in Zimbabwe.
For the last 44 years the Mbari clan owners of Harare Kingdom have been calling for the return of their land, Harare lost it’s Kingdom status when the British colonised Zimbabwe, they mounted the union Jack on top of the Kopje (Chihoka Hill) and to ensure the Mbari clan Harare’s Royal family would never make a come back by coming up with a very bad constitution which prohibits Harare and Bulawayo from having a Chief (King). Zimbabwean leaders pretend to value tradition and culture yet have ignored calls to ammend the Constitution to restore traditional status of Harare and Bulawayo. This has been ignored for very selfish reasons. The late King Mbari who ruled Harare during the pre conial era has continuosly com.unicated through his spirit medium and through spiritual ways where myterious occurences have happened in Harare but till today has been ignored.
As Zimbabweans face hardships and never ending problems no one seems to know the solution yet Zimbabweans have the answers right under their noses. The traditional status of the country as not been restored and the cou try has not been returned to the “owners” the 12 original Chiefs. That is where Zimbabwe needs to start from otherwise everything else is drama.
Traditional Chiefs who are custodians of Zimbabwean traditions and culture have never given guidance to the country and failed to urge the leaders to follow traditional and spiritual guidance given during the Chinurenga war. Traditional leaders need to do much more than they are doing. Zimbabwe is not a country which should follow the modern political setup forced on the cou try by the colonialists. Zimbabwe is required to have a King as the leader and this King is chosen spiritually by the cou trys spiritual leaders or (mhondoro). The choosing of a Zimbabwean leader does not require any voting or elections as we currently see.
Many war veterans who fought in the Chimurenga war hardly talk about returning the country to it’s owners the 12 traditional Kings (Chiefs). They only talk about fighting in the war, fighting for the land, protecting the land but how do they protect the land without involving the owners? How do they protect the land without the assistance or blessings of the owners of the land?
Last week one war Veteran Blessed Geza and many others held press conferences and managed to grab everyones attention when they narrated the liberation struggle and what happened during the Chimurenga war, the values of what they fought for, he also narrated how the 2017 coup removed former President Robert Mugabe but deliberately left out talking about the instructions given by Nehanda. If these war veterans are serious about what they are doing they should revisit the instructions given by Nehanda to see a prosperous and trouble free Zimbabwe. Hopefully very soon Geza will address the unfinished traditional instructions and will call upon fellow war veterans and traditional Chiefs and mhondoro to attend to it.
Zimbabweans can choose to continue ignoring the “spirits” instructions but they should never forget that the 12 original (Mhondoro) will assemble and do what they need to do to rescue the country, they will converge and will remove the remains of Cecil John Rhodes from Matopos something that Zimbabweans have failed to do for the last 44 years since 1980 when the country gained Independence. They are are ones who will also decide who is to be King to lead Zimbabwe. When that happens then Zimbabwe will continue with its traditional administration and will once again be the land of milk and honey
Right now Zimbabwe experiences a lot of (mbereka) these are mudzimu who come and fool the people that they are the ones yet they are not. The real Mhondoro of Zimbabwe will come soon and they will sort the country out. What Zimbabwe is experiencing right now was meant to happen, soon Zimbabweans will see what is to follow. Those who know, are very much aware of what’s coming next.
Meanwhile the British who are holding on to colonial loot will hurridly return what belongs to Caesar by themselves without being asked when everything is in motion. Zimbabweans will smile and will pinch themselves to ensure they are not dreaming because they will see a new and different Zimbabwe.
