(News of The South) – The 1958 world cup winner has claimed that his fellow country man is better on the ball technically than the four time Ball on d’Or winner, but only lacks precision in the air.
Inspite of Ronaldo’s remarkable achievement over the past year and his entire career, the Brazil legend thinks that his advantage over Neymar is his aerial prowess.
“The only problem with Neymar is his head”, Pele said.”But Cristiano Ronaldo is not better than him”.
“Technically, Neymar is way ahead, but Ronaldo is better when using the head.You don’t see Neymar scoring with his head and that matters most”.
Pele represented Brazil 91 times between 1957 and 1971 and is pleased with his country’s new found glory in terms of performance.He believes that Brazil are now playing as unit rather than individual brilliance and has them to bounce back from 2014 world cup disappointment.
” One of the things that gave me most satisfaction was to see Tite’s approach,” the former Santos striker admitted.
“I hope it works because Title seems to be on right path.”
