Masvingo, Zimbabwe.- The Minister of State for Masvingo Province, Ezra Ruvai Chadzamira has accused some school heads in Masvingo Province of barring teachers from conducting lessons.

Chadzamira told a Masvingo based community radio station yesterday the government would not tolerate hooliganism.

He urged school teachers in the province to conduct lessons without fear as they would be protected by law enforcement agents.

“We have received reports about some school heads who are instructing teachers to stay at home.

This has to stop forthwith because we view such unprofessional behaviour as a violation of work ethics,” said Chadzamira.

Chadzamira also castigated the country’s main opposition party MDC for allegedly perpetrating violence.
