Tinoonga Mawere. (News of the South) – Masvingo- Controversial Former Higher and Tertiary Education Minister Jonathan Moyo has claimed that there is a fallout between Vice President Constantino Chiwenga and his Chinese friends such that he cannot fly to the Asian country to seek medical services.
Chiwenga reportedly flew to South Africa to receive medical attention amid pressure from civic organisations that want him to return to Zimbabwe to seek treatment at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
According to social media reports pressure is mounting on Chiwenga to return home immediately.
“In the past General Chiwenga used to be airlifted to China on medical emergency for treatment. That has changed since the November 2017 military takeover.
The emergency medical airlifts are now to South Africa;previously Joburg and now reportedly Cape Town.
Is there a Chinese fallout?”Moyo tweeted.
