BLOVETAC Construction Company is a fast growing construction company and has opened another branch in Bulawayo recently. Speaking at a PROWEB breakfast meeting at Harare International Conference Centre[ HICC] which was graced by the President of Zimbabwe ,His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa on the 8th of October ,Mrs Virginia Chivhima who is the Managing Director of the company highlighted about a lot of projects which they are doing.
‘We have opened another branch in the second capital city of Zimbabwe -Bulawayo, we are targeting to create over five thousand jobs for people in Bulawayo and definitely we shall make it in few weeks to come as we are still setting our offices ,said Mrs Virginia Chivhima. BLOVETAC Company has its headquarters in Harare -Hatfield .It has professionals who specialises in different fields, it has engineers ,quantity savours ,sheq officer, accountants and artisans.
BLOVETAC has constructed ECD blocks, mother shelters for expecting mothers ,classrooms blocks in Budiriro ,clinics just to mention a few ,they also get sub contracts from another big companies .
The mission of the breakfast meeting was for the training of women and mentorship in entrepreneurship .The President promised to consider women in all business ventures and support them in the funding of their business. ‘My administration will work closely with women ,women are better trusted in financial deals that my good friends – men,said President Mnangagwa. ‘I will ,in my business trips need to go with a delegation representing women in business so that they learn from other counter paths how they do about their business’ elaborated ED.
Among the dignitaries who attended the breakfast meeting who spoke heavily on the need to uplift women in business was the president of PROWEB Dr Grace Maradzikwa ,Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Honourable Sthembiso Nyoni and Defence Minister Honourable Oppah Muchinguri.
