American politics is allegedly there for us all midget man of Africa to look up to in awe as the huge wheels of democracy churn around blasphemous, glorious and otherworldly images and motion pictures.

It’s there churning out products we can only dream of as we wait for time to depreciate their lure and value so that they may come to our shores also.

Of course that’s all garbage

Currently we are marveling at a product of democracy called Donald Trump envisaging him as a black political Mafioso fighting a battle for poverty stricken villagers in this African jungle; rallying people to do away with fickle forms of Pan-Africanism that amount to mere podium speeches and take up real guns for the new fight.

Trump has been blaspheming everyone around his campaign trail with his visions of a Hulk America which he needs to resurrect and the people have loved the pregnancy after the frightening dream of menopause that was Afghanistan, September 11, Russia’s forays, Chinese expansion and so forth.

They think he may amount to something bigger than Putin and livelier than Obama.

Obama after all seems to be doing the opposite. Withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, hugging frail but obstinate Raul; easing restrictions after believing Iranian oaths about civilian nuclear and America is just not acting powerful enough.

In Africa we don’t have room for men such as Trump. Men who go about upsetting the apple cart and itching a whole party’s pants to the grin of the masses.

We have properly filed donkeys that follow the party line until chance or scheming allows them to lead the others. The scheming part is a large bowel of various actions that include coups, insurrections and rebels.

Trump has made so many wrong and bad comments. He has not been the model politician full of diplomacy and reverence for global figures and the like.

He has just been himself and his agenda, getting to the White House.

Driving his campaign are man such as Paul Manafort who has a history for propping anything that pays including some dictators whose images he swabbed and face powdered for the people’s liking.

Thus Donald is well hinged to come across as vile yet acceptable, the crude joke you recite in your afternoon silence.

He is the walking embodiment of the word motherfucker. How vile it is. How dirty it is and how gross, yet somewhere in your subconscious passages it walks to adulations as a powerful invective against the weak establishment of courtesy.

For all his ructions he has hit upon some genuine issues and the people have ditched party norms and figures flocking to the man who has laughed at other candidates faces (serious).

As time dwindles and he keeps picking the numbers, the Republican Party is caught with vexing choices of supporting an ugly duckling Donald or relinquish the elections to Democrats.

Watching a whole party fret because of one man followed by masses is the part of the story we need down here in the African jungle.

Properly filed politicians trudging down the Party policy path have failed and are failing to bring about the necessary transformation that African should by now be seized with.

The few that have stood up against Party systems have been results of dismissals or differences.

Joyce Mujuru, Zimbabwe’s former Vice President fighting his former ally Robert Mugabe; EFF’s Julius Malema reincarnating himself against the ANC and President Jacob Zuma as an aftermath; Moise Katumbi of DRC against Joseph Kabila after previous cuddles gone sour.

The results of such patter out into the void nothingness.

What is needed is a sheer Donald uprising that comes up before any dismissal, before any scandals and without any pressures.

Sheer battles over policy and governance within parties and not personal frictions falsely heightened and veneered with freckles of policy.

The real Donald has made blunders and isn’t even the complete version of what Africa needs yet he provides a rough template of a politician fighting inverse to the party to the liking of the sector that matters, which is the people.

Some of the solutions he has mooted are sheer balderdash, garbage in a burger paper, and warrant no informed counter but it’s the essence of his existance that renews hope as we watch from this jungle side.

In SA Malema will amount to a paltry little and fade with time. Kabila in DRC is already showing signs of the ever-staying dictator whilst his party props him.

Museveni in Uganda has already done it and is on his way into the annals of Africa strongmen who love power and please don’t make me go.

Joyce Mujuru’s future in Zimbabwe hinges on the amount of frictions that the ruling party ZANU PF can quarry amongst itself, otherwise from his cast out posture he can wriggle only so far.

Moise Katumbi is a force in DRC but there is something more dangerous about a man with a gun and paid fanatics on his side.

Donald Trump is likely to lose to Hillary Clinton but the man has kicked a whole party’s bottom all the same. Can we have some of that here please.
