Zimbabweans Panic With Pasuwa’s Job In Malawi
BY DRAXON MALOYA
Malawi (News of The South)- Soccer enthusiasts in Zimbabwe have registered their shock waves upon hearing that the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has engaged the services of Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Kalisto Pasuwa as its consultant.
Pasuwa left Malawi almost a fortnight ago for Yaounde, Cameroon where he is to fulfill his assignments as a Consultant for FAM.
Meanwhile, several media outlets in Zimbabwe including the Herald and Wednesday.co.zw have reported linked the former Dynamos midfield maestro with a spying mission on his country’s soccer national team for Malawians.
“They will be looking to milk his intimate knowledge of the Warriors players, the former Dynamos midfielder and then coached the Dream Team in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon and before that presided over two wins against Malawi while in the Zimbabwe dugout,” reports the Wednesday.co.zw.
Malawi and Zimbabwe will meet on Friday in a swim or sink fixture if they are to reignite their chances of progressing to the next stage of Africa’s greatest soccer festival, the Afcon having lost in their opening fixtures against Guinea and Senegal respectively.
Meanwhile, FAM has vehemently dispelled media reports about the revered Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, that he is in Cameroon to help the Flames spying on the Warriors in both teams’ second assignment at the continent’s greatest football festival.
