A 40 year old Zimbabwean man Allen Simba Mhingirira based in Coventry threatened to murder a UK female Journalist on Christmas Day for alleged (deformation) (sic) of character.
Mhingirira who attended a Zimbabwean and South African gig held at Platinum Club in Coventry last Saturday rang the Journalist on Christmas eve requesting for a gig video in which he featured dancing to be removed from social media.
Mhingirira who claims to be a Care Worker looking after vulnerable children and has issues with Social workers which might be damaging if they came into contact with the video where he is featured dancing at a public event.
Mhingirira who is also registered as Managing Director of Allen Motors limited rang the Journalist on Christmas eve and said:
“ I am a care worker and I look after vulnerable children who have learning disabilities. I also have issues with social workers so if I am seen dancing in the video my behaviour will be regarded as inappropriate. If you don’t remove that video I will murder you”.
“Can you remove that video from the internet, I am might also have problems with my wife at home” he said.
On Christmas day as early as 5.37 am Mhingirira began texting abusive and threatening messages claiming the video was defaming his character.
He was then advised to go through the courts if he thought he had any issues as the video was shot in a public area at a gig. During the gig M had deliberately come in front of the camera where video recording was taking place and was aware of his actions at the time.
Mhingira kept texting messages to the Journalist until 8am and was advised that a report for harrassment and threatening behaviour was going to be made to the police.
When advised to desist from contacting the Journalist Mhingirira continued texting and some of his messages read:
“ Listen I am not threatening you what will happen to you kuti as long as you don’t remove those videos tinowona anowira pasi. Go and show the police you bitch. Handitye mapurisa kana 1 time I have been to prison for murder so wait and see”.
“Kana wada hondo iyoyo wotogara ku police station don’t go kuma Bar chida unoda bar racho (If you want war with me make sure you stay at the police station don’t go out to any bar”.
“Chimbobvunza vanondiziva mu Coventry ne Leicester unotopa mama chete (sic) wati hondo or wotofamaba nemapurisa muhomwe (Ask those who know me from Coventry and Leicester you are going to see what I will do to you as I am now at war with you or you have to move around with police in your pocket)”
“If yu don’t want me to contact you f….. hure bvisa video pa you tube”.
