Harare, Zimbabwe. (News of The South) – The most unusual act a law enforcement agent can ever face is to be entangled in an off side position and found deviating from ethical code of conduct during line of duty.
Police officers are known for their diligent expediency in dealing with matters related to sanctioning members of the public whom they find committing unlawful misconducts but of late it has appeared that as human beings they are subject to crime hence the need to reprimand them.

Such an unfortunate predicament heavily costed a Bedfordshire Police Sergeant Taurayi Chamboko who has been dismissed after attempting to evade being charged with drink driving in an incident when traffic control officers stopped him after overtaking an unmarked police car “in poor driving conditions” on 9 November, a misconduct panel heard.
In the midst of interogations Chamboko allegedly feigned illness to avoid producing a urine sample after he had earlier shown his warrant card.
Chief Constable Jon Boutcher expressed disgruntlement over the gross misconduct displayed by Mr Chamboko where he castigated act of poor driving conditions.
“You overtook two cars at high speed in poor driving conditions and when stopped you produced your warrant card immediately,” he said.”I have absolutely no doubt you tried to avoid the police process that day,” reiterated Chief Constable Jon Boutcher.
It was also established that Mr Chamboko resembled a thuggery behavior when he resisted cooperating with the police before road-side breath test sample was showed a reading of 58 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath yet the legal limit is only restricted to 35 micrograms.
This was subsequently followed by his inability to attend questions asked during his stay in cells before an overhaul sleep of about nine hours.
It also came to the attention of Chamboko’s peers that he was perceived to have been exposed to serious stressful headache which possibly came in the a wake of a myriad challenges connected to to the untimely deaths of his close relatives.
Despite Chamboko’s colleagues recommending him for his hardworking tendency Mr Boutcher had no kind words for him other than to issue an urgent dismissal from duty without notice.
“It is a great sadness that an officer of your standard is lost to policing.”
