ACTOR WILL Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly under investigation by child protective services over a photo of their 13-year-old daughter Willow lying on a bed with a shirtless man.
In the controversial black and white photo, Willow Smith is seen in the intimate setting with Disney actor Moises Arias.
Arias, best known for his role as Rico in Hannah Montana, is shirtless in the photograph while Willow lies on her side next to him, her head resting on her arm. The picture sparked a backlash from fans who said the setting was too mature for the teen.
Willow’s mother Jada, 42, defended the image earlier this month, saying there was ‘nothing sexual about it’.
However, the Los Angeles Department of Children And Family Services has launched an investigation, according to RadarOnline.
A source told the website: “Social workers will also be talking separately with Willow, and they also want to talk to the young man in the picture with her as well.
“This won’t just be one or two visits with the family, and it will likely be an open investigation for at least a month, out of an abundance of caution.’
When asked about the photo, Jada angry told TMZ reporters: “Here’s the deal. There was nothing sexual about that picture of that situation.
“You guys are projecting your trash onto it … and your acting like covert paedophiles and that’s not cool.’
