The World Health Organisation (WHO) at the weekend eventually backed down and gave the thumps up to Madagascar’s COVID-19 clinical process remedy.
Tedros Adhonom Ghabreyesus – the WHO president – has finally relented to his initial hard stance by acknowledging this African country’s organic herb, paving way all countries interested to begin purchasing it as an antidote to both the prevention and cure of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
Health experts have lauded the move taken by the WHO, saying the Indian Ocean country stood to reap huge returns from its natural resources if the herb is finally found to be effective.
“We don’t know yet about other ailments the organic herb can cure, but it is clear that Madagasca is for good times, if it treat and prevent COVID-19” said one medical expert who preferred anonymity on professional grounds.
Below are Ghabreyesus, president of the WHO’s words on his Twitter handle:
“Good call with HE Rajoelina, President of Madagascar, about the #COVID-19 situation in his country.
“We discussed how to work together on therapeutics research and development, and we agreed that solidarity is key to fighting the pandemic and keeping the world safe.”
Madagascar President Rajoelina was elated by the development, immediately taking to his microbloging Twitter handle to confirm the good news to the world.
Rajoelina said he and the WHO would soon sign a confidentiality clause on the manufacture of COVID19-Organics, the potential cure for the pandemic.
Initially, Madagascar’s potential COVID-19 cure was rejected on the basis that it had not been approved by medical experts.
Several African countries, including Nigeria, have already ordered the potential organic herb for COVID-19 treatment.
