Greetings to you family and hope i find you well and pray that God is restoring your life in all aspects.
When I started my broadcasting career at the age of 16, I vividly remember how I felt reading my first radio news bulletin.
During those days, names like Ishmael Ndlovu, Grace Tsvakanyi, Supa Mandiwanzira, Musorowegomo Mukosi, Spencer Banda, Hugo Ribatika, Patrick Kariwo, Dave Emberton, Reuben Barwe, the late Henrietta Ndebele, Evermore Sandati, Hailey Mlangeni and many more would bombard my eyes and ears.
They cooked and sharpened us with artistic creativity.
Looking back in retrospect I picture most of the programs I presented and really and truly we have come a long way and I give all glory and honour to Jehovah and ZBC for nurturing Oscar Pambuka.
The programs I did include: Newshour, Media Watch, Melting Pot, News at 8, Lunchtime News, Parliament Live, Election Debates, National Budget presentations, Zimbabwe Today, Face the Nation and many more.
Today, I am very excited to see the growth of many gifted cadres in this craft.
Dj Olla, you are second to none my brother. Just imagine Olla, I had taken a retreat but it is also you who contributed to my stamina to rise up again, simply with your presence.
Iron sharpens iron and we never compete but ignite discourse in our various capacities as individuals.
Iwewe neni dai tambopihwa something nenyika.
I love you like water Olla and Zimbabwe please use the Oscar and Olla model as a reference point for unity of purpose and appreciation of divergent views peacefully.
