Today, more than half of Zimbabwe’s working population are in Small and Medium businesses in cities, rural areas, mining communities and towns. As the working population grows and the effects of climate change, carbon emission, deforestation and sanitation worsen, peoples mind set, perception, networking, collaboration has to evolve.
It’s time for Zimbabweans to invest in efficiency, sustainable and renewable resources, replant all communities in cities and towns, and begin to solve the climate crisis. Make tree planting a lifestyle that’s what the Replant Zimbabwe campaign is all about.

Over the next five years Tetrad Tree Foundation and the climate smart alliance will mobilize, network and collaborate a National Intervention to accelerate the Great Green Transition. In collaboration with communities, businesses and churches, there will lobbying with government officials to improve energy efficiency, advance renewable energy, and implement sustainable green practices. With shared responsibilities there will be motivation of the public and transformation of communities through interventions.

The first step is ensuring that communities have made tree planting a lifestyle and have sustainable resources to research and implement trusted community engagement programmes. This is why there is a call on legislators, policy makers, business and communities to advocate for the sustainable production and consumption of forest resources.
Time to use game changer management tools is now as there is continuation of current ‘business as usual’ trend or Zimbabweans can choose a future of more sustainable development, cleaner water, air, sustainable employment, food security and a better quality of life. Communities, policy makers and business need to be motivated to make sustainable decisions.
Everyone is welcome to be part of the Replant Zimbabwe campaign as an organisation or individual by joining the climate smart alliance. Support will play a pivotal role in launching new sustainable Green initiatives, improving energy efficiency, and building the foundation of sustainable, Green Economies and communities in Zimbabwe.
