Zimbabwean Stephanie Chiyangwa launched her book entitled “Situation Is Never Destiny” on Saturday November 2 at an event held at the UK’s Hilton Hotel,London Bridge.
The event was hosted by Chiyangwa`s charity: Help Us Help Ourselves of which she is the CEO.
Stephanie Chiyangwa is daughter of Zimbawe`s flamboyant businessman Dr Phillip Chiyangwa who failed to attend the event.
Present at the event were Zimbabwe`s Tourism Minister Walter Mzembi currently in London to attend the World Tourism Markets, Her Royal Highness Princess Deun Adedoyn Solarin, Muzare Betty Makoni, Reverend Kabaso, Pauline Long Founder of BEFTA Awards and other invited guests.

The event was hosted by Zambian Rosemary Chileshe.

Several Awards were given out to Empowerment Ambassadors of the Charity who included: Thandie Haruperi, Axcil Jeffries, Demetria Karonga, Natasha Thomas, Obert Maziwisa Alfred Munhenga (DJ King Alfred), Linda Satimburwa, Lesley Dube, Jane Doka,Davison Chimenya, Floyd Mutambiranwa and Tawanda Sibotshiwe.
Pauline Long was happy to receive her award and said: “We should share love, unite and work together. We should be supportive; this room should be overflowing without any empty seats at the back”.
We should love one another, with human love your neighbour will not go without food, with love there is no rape and no murder”.
Long encouraged all in the room to be agents of human love.
Long is the founder of the BEFTA Awards and also hosts the “Pauline Long show” on Sky channel 182 where she promotes anything and everything to do with the Afro Caribbean community.
Power of Business Networking Founder and CEO Linda Satimburwa was one of the sponsors of the event and also received an award.
Satimburwa`s first platform was through the Zimbabwe Networking Organisation who gave her a lot of support and encouragement as she was not confident to stand and speak in front of people.
Satimburwa grew up in Honde valley in Manicaland where she grew up with the spirit of helping. She currently sponsors children`s education in Zimbabwe, she has done so for the past six years.
“It doesn’t matter how small you are, big or small companies we support you. Stephanie is doing a very good thing supporting and uplifting the less privileged in the community. We need to encourage each other in order to achieve much. You cannot be yourself without others. I am what I am because of other people” she said.

Stephanie told guests present at Saturday’s event that her father Dr Chiyangwa was expected in the UK in a week’s time.
Another book signing event will be held soon and Stephanie will be signing copies of her books to those interested in buying.
