Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)-Robert Kardashian allegedly believed his friend OJ Simpson was guilty of the double murder of his former wife and a friend according to excepts from a book coming out soon written by Caitlyn Jenner.
OJ Simpson was accused of murdering his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and a friend, Ron Goldman but was acquitted at the courts in 1995 in a case that is dubbed the trial of the century by many.
The book written by Caitlyn Jenner, former wife of the late Robert Kardashian, chronicles how the former lawyer was heavily weighted by the belief that Simpson had committed the crime despite being exonerated in the courts.
According to Radar Online which has got hold of the book, The Secrets of My Life, Jenner talks about a car ride with Robert in the 1990’s during which he divulged his fears.
“I would have been okay with it if they had gotten him in the first trial”, he reportedly said, and Jenner later explains that the implication of the statement meant that Robert believed that “OJ was obviously guilty”.
In the soon to be released book Jenner goes on to call Simpson ‘the most narcisstic, egocentric, neediest asshole in the world of sports I have even seen”, alleging that “he got away with two savage murders”.
Robert Kardashian however remained a part of the OJ Simpson defense team though a recent TV series American Crime Story, based on the trial of the sports star, throws hints of the strong suspicion Robert had about his friend.
The series which has won multiple awards has Cuba Gooding Jnr playing the role of OJ Simpson whilst former Friends star David Schwimmer plays Robert Kardashian.
