VETERAN RAPPER Snoop Dogg has become a grandfather for the first time after his eldest son welcomed a baby boy this week.
The 43-year-old took to Instagram to share the happy news, posting a picture of the child’s father – his son Corde and youngest son Cordell – on an Instagram post.
“Zion with his uncle n dad,” he wrote. “Can’t wait to meet u baby dogg!! My 1st grandson!! The saga continues.”
Baby Zion is the first child for Corde Broadus and his wife Jessica Kyzer.
“Zion. U have a lot of love waitin on u grandson!!” Snoop wrote in another Instagram post accompanied by a montage of various family members – most of them looking fondly at the newborn.

The rapper himself was out of town at the time, making his Instagram posts a major way of showing affection to the newest member of the family.
A second photo showed his wife, Shante Taylor, holding the baby, captioned as “Proud grandma @bosslady.”
The baby joins Snoop Dogg’s three children – 20-year-old Corde, 17-year-old Cordell, and 15-year-old Cori – in the family.
