Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – Prominent radio and television personality Misred, has questioned the government’s silence over the disappearance of the 15 billion from diamond sales a long time after commencement of alleged investigations.

Writing on Twitter, the ZiFM presenter, real name Samantha Musa, said it is baffling how the said investigations have not yielded any updates up to now.

“We are getting no updates on the missing 15billion ‘investigations’ from the respective Government departments… why!?

The radio personality said she felt the burden to stand up for such issues in the country.
“I want my generation to have a voice. If I disappear make sure you continue the good fight lol”, she said in an ironic jest after the disappearance of activist Itai Dzamara.

Musa described the pain she feels for what is happening in the country.

“Iam a Zimbabwean citizen looking for answers like many. We need to start mapping our way forward for the greater good of this nation”.

“I am hurting for our generation, God hear us when we pray for our families, our peers, our country”, she said.

“Zimbabwe is like a cruel stepfather, pays the bills, puts a roof over your head, takes you to school but constantly abuses you”, she said in a veiled attack upon the ways of the current government.

Another prominent figure comedian Doc Vikela, also chipped in on the 15 billion issue with a statement of solidarity.

“And we mustn’t stop till we get enough! Till we get answers”, he said. The issue of the missing 15 billion has vexed the nation many of whom don’t believe in the disappearance aspect believing instead that politicians were involved in the scam to fleece the nation.

President Mugabe first revealed the news of the missing money during his birthday celebrations and since then investigations into the issue have stalled into an ominous silence with fears that nothing will come of the search.

Corruption has derailed many things in Zimbabwe due to a comatose economy resulting in political mafia gangs ruling the roost through the abuse of state offices.
