Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)-Prominent Nigerian Prophet TB Joshua, who was in the news recently after a false prediction that Hillary Clinton would win American Presidential, elections has come out with an advert of holy paraphernalia which will be sold to congregants.
On his church’s Facebook account the Prophet details how the coming goods can be accessed after arriving.
“15,000,000 Morning water, faith bracelet, believer card, DVD and Books will be shipping today” the notice says and goes on to detail the requirements if one needs to get them.
For one to get the holy water, bracelet or believer card he needs to provide his full name, complete address, telephone number and register using TB Joshua’s email address.
The notice however does not explicitly state if the goods are to be sold or given out though the general norm nowadays is that they are sold during services or after.
The selling of holy goods such as water and anointing oil has become a controversial topic among believers and non-believers who are at crossroads on the authenticity of such moves.
TB Joshua hogged the limelight late last year when he delivered a prophecy concerning the US elections which pitted press and overwhelming favourite Hillary Clinton against the then brash and rough Donald Trump.
In the prophecy delivered during a service at TB Joshua’s Synagogue of All Nations he said God had revealed to him that a woman was going to win the election leading to the summation that he meant Hillary Clinton.
However Clinton lost and a man, Donald Trump, won the election leading to a lot of consternation among Christians some of whom attacked the prophet as a lier.
