The High Street in Swansea might have several stores but all roads lead to Primark store in Swansea. On a drizzly Wednesday afternoon the News Of The South reporter went to the store to see for himself and to find out why so many residents of Swansea have fallen in love with Primark store to the extent of it becoming a household name.
The News Of The South, reporter had the privilege to hear some of the views from shoppers – why they prefer shopping at Primark?
Mark said: “I’m a bargain hunter so it makes sense to shop where you get the value for your money. Primark stands out as one of my favourite shops because the prices are within reach and the qualities of the clothes are superb. Just imagine I have managed to buy 5 pairs of socks at 2 pounds, a long sleeved corduroy shirt for 5 pounds and a fashionable hat for 2 pounds. With less than a tenner, I’ve fresh clothes to add to my wardrobe. That’s brilliant isn’t it?”
Flora said: “It’s back to school week so I made sure I should come here and capitalize on the massive reduction of prices and change my wardrobe for the New Year. I also to buy some of the clothes to keep as presents for next Christmas. I’ve to hurry before the reduced items runs out. Everyone is hunting for bargains at the moment.”
Chloe said: “I love to shop at Primark because I can get casual wear clothes and those for the office at affordable prices. I don’t have to go from on shop to another looking for different things,. All I want can be found in one roof. Their label Cedar wood clothing is a superb label.”
Tom said: “Primark prices are good; you can turn around your dressing with a handful of pounds. It has everything at rock bottom prices for people from all walks of life. I like it when I use my little pocket money to spoil myself with new outfits and Primark is the store to live my dream.”
Trisha said: “I’m a sort of a tomboy; I like to wear t-shirts and jeans. I find Primark’s t-shirts and jeans affordable, cool and for all weather. One has to live within his or her means, Primark affords me that.”
Having heard it all from the horses’mouths Ileft the premises knowing fully why all roads lead to Primark store and why it rules the fashion industry.
