Tinoonga Mawere|Information Deputy Minister, Energy Mutodi, has said President Emmerson Mnangagwa will inform the nation about the form of honour to be accorded to the late iconic musician Oliver Mtukudzi.
The nation is in grief following the death of the legendary musician. There are growing calls for Tuku to be accorded national hero status.
Mutodi tweeted:”The Gvt of Zimbabwe is deeply saddened by the passing on of Dr Oliver Mutukudzi, a great patriot who united us through his music. HE President Mnangagwa will determine what kind of honour will be accorded to him- be it state
assisted funeral or otherwise. Will keep you informed.”
