Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf who has been facing charges of killing a Muslim priest was freed from custody after the court granted him bail on Monday.

Musharraf who spend seven months under arrest can now move around the country but he is not allowed beyond Pakistan borders.

The 70- year old Musharraf was granted bail on conditions including $2,000 payment.

It is also alleged that he murdered former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto however; he claimed all charges against him were politically backed.

The former commando was barred from running for office for the rest of his life after he seized power in 1999 which saw him ruling Pakistan up to 2008.
