Notorious Boko Haram Kidnap 100 Villagers In North Eastern Nigeria

Nigeria`s notorious Boko Haram stormed Gumsuri, a remote village in north eastern Nigeria where they kidnapped 100 people and killed at least 33 people on Sunday.

In the attack young men , women and children were kidnapped

Cameroon`s army has confirmed killing 116 of the Boko Haram militants.

According to residents Boko Haram militants attacked the border town of Amchide on Wednesday where they arrived in two vehicles while others arrived on foot.

During the raid the market place was set on fire and shops and more than 50 houses were set ablaze.

One of the survivors of the Gumsuri attack explained how he returned to the village about 70km south of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State where he helped to bury 33 of the dead people.

Since 2009 Boko Hararm has waged an insurgency seeking to create an Islamist State in north – eastern Nigeria.

200 schoolgirls kidnapped from Chibok in April are still missing despite assistance from China, France UK and US.
