State House,Harare Zimbabwe (News of The South) – President Emmerson Mnangagwa presided over the swearing-in ceremony of two new ministers this morning, bolstering his cabinet with fresh leadership. Hon. Evelyn Ndlovu was sworn in as the Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife, while Hon. Albert Nguluvhe took the oath of office as the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Matabeleland South.
Hon. Evelyn Ndlovu steps into her new role, succeeding Hon. Sthembiso Nyoni. Her extensive background in government is expected to be a valuable asset to her new portfolio. Notably, Hon. Ndlovu has previously served as the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, and as the Permanent Secretary for Women Affairs and Community Development, demonstrating a strong track record of public service.
Meanwhile, Hon. Albert Nguluvhe assumes his first ministerial position. President Mnangagwa expressed his confidence in Hon. Nguluvhe’s ability to serve the people of Matabeleland South with unwavering dedication and distinction.
“I congratulate both ministers and wish them success as they carry out their new responsibilities in support of national development,” President Mnangagwa stated during the ceremony.
The appointments come at a crucial time, as Zimbabwe addresses critical environmental challenges and strives to advance its devolution agenda. Hon. Ndlovu’s experience will be vital in navigating the complexities of climate change and wildlife conservation, while Hon.
