Lilongwe, Malawi. (News of The South). – Malawi’s finance minister Goodal Gondwe has been rushed to hospital after suffering from high blood pressure.
A reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity confided to News of The South that the minister is currently hospitalised in one of the private hospitals in the capital city, Lilongwe.
Gondwe is contesting for a parliamentary seat in his home district of Rumphi in the northern region.
It is yet to be established as to what has caused the sugar levels for the former minister to rise.
