Macheso Mapfumo Show Fills Up The Athena Leicester But Marred With Poor Sound System

Zimbabwe music legends Thomas Mapfumo, Aleck Macheso and Tocky Vibes got The Athena banqueting suite filled up to the maximum as music fans travelled from all corners of the United Kingdom for a fun filled bank holiday weekend in Leicester city.
Phab Entertainment had worked tirelessly to promote the show but were let down by the sound engineer who failed to get the sound to top notch. It got worse when US based Thomas Mapfumo was on stage, he had to stop several times and tell the engineer to step up his game. Frustration got to Mukanya who then called on promoter Joab Mugugu to come over and sort it. Mapfumo said: Jobho huya kuno, ndiwe wakatsvaga munhu uyu”.
Despite the sound issue fans enjoyed themselves to tunes from Tocky Vibes, Macheso amd Maofumo himself. Mapfumo ended up performing for very little time than fans expected. See videos below:
