Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South)-Donald Trump’s administration is set to bring in a revised order against refugees from seven Islamic states banned from entering the US after a court order invalidated his earlier one.

The move also comes in the wake of a report which detailed that the earlier order was misplaced as the seven countries citizens posed no clear terrorist threat to the US.

The seven countries in the first travel temporary signed on January 27 which has since been blocked by a district court judge in Washington are Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Somalia and Iraq.

Speaking to his fellow conservatives in Washington on Friday President Trump said “we will not be deterred from this course” and vowed never to apologise for protecting the safety of the American people.

“We are going to keep radical Islamic terrorism the hell out of the country”, he said according to an AP report.

The new report analyzing the temporary travel ban challenged Trump’s core allegation that the US is endangered by visitors from the seven targeted countries.

Out of 82 people who carried terrorist attacks just over half were US citizens born in the country whilst the others were from 26 countries.

These are Pakistan, Somalia, Bangladesh, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iraq and Uzbekistan whilst other single individuals came from Sudan, Iran and Yemen.
