The bodies of the two French Journalists shot dead in the rebel infested northern desert of Mali arrived home in Paris early Tuesday as Barmako vowed to hunt down their killers.

Bodies of Ghislain Dupont (57), and Claude Verlon (55) arrived early in the morning at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

The two Journalists were killed while on duty for a French radio RFI when they were abducted and killed by armed gunmen.

Paying homage before the dead bodies were flown to Paris, Mali President Ibrahim Boubakar vowed to dig deep the root cause of the killing.

“We will do anything to find the culprits,” he said while addressing RFI management at the Mali International airport.

The killing came on the wake while the French nation was celebrating the release of the four hostages who have been held for three years in Mali’s neighbouring country Niger.

The USA on Monday joined other nations in condemning violence against journalists and also expressed concern over security situation in the country.
