News of The South – Amanda Nkomo and her foundation Ngcono Mbowane Foundation have made a difference to school children’s lives with the support they have rendered over the last couple of weeks.

Amnanda and her foundation visited Tsholotsho High school and Landa John Nkomo High school in Zimbabwe’s second largest city of Bulawayo and gave away school supplies for the children, supploes included pads for the girls. The NgconoMbowane foundation also hosted a girls day at Sihazela primary school for young women to empower and educate them.

Ngcono Mbowane foundation visited a local children’s home to give a food donation which will go a long way.

Zimbabwe is currently suffering from drought and many people are in need of food aid. The rate of malnutrition is increasing every day as families are going without food. It’s so impressive to see young Zimbabweans supporting their own.
