1 Heritage negotiated contracts with Jay C and Loud H and to date Y2K have not seen their signed contacts although Y2K is aware of performance fees. The welfare of all artists was in the hands of Y2K and 1 Heritage from UK arrival until the departure date however some artists felt the need for extensions for their work shops and we had no problems with that as long as they do not overstay on VISA and are financing themselves. Y2K went into this tour with objectives and in line with Y2K vision.
All artists came with objectives some which we share and have been doing their individual work shops, its all exposure and opportunities. Ras Pompy went back home and when he touched base in Mbare, the gear was higher and celebrity status a notch up. Thanks to Mbare massive for such a wonderful and inspiring welcome support of your own son.
Ras Pompey was the first 14 year old to come out of Zim on a work permit and to perform in UK and so history was made and objectives achieved. Y2K will continue to offer opportunities in Zim Dancehall and just a gentle reminder; we are the first to bring Zim Dancehall Artists in UK, fact. For Y2K fans we have very exciting projects ahead. Y2K would like to take this opportunity to thank 1 Heritage for all their hard work and efforts for tour. Y2K will not make any further comments about this tour.
