Competition within the mobile network companies in Zimbabwe has brought good life to subscribers as they now enjoy reduced costs on their calls, sending messages and in accessing internet.
Network companies of late have been innovative in their ways to lure more subcribers to their networks which are seeing some subscribers calling for as much as a cent per minute.
With Econet, NetOne and Telecel in a competition war to prove who is the best in giving good services the clients are enjoying this and with some now having all lines of the network companies hence enjoying all the benefits coming with all the lines.
Telecel has its way of attracting subscribers by giving 90 minutes to whoever activates his/her dollar airtime into calling bundles and which only works on telecel to telecel lines,a bonus indeed.
Econet not to be outdone have come also with numerous benefits to its subsribers which include buddie zone,in which one can call for less depending with its percentage with 99% being the cheapest.
Another available option is of changing a dollar worth of airtime into 10 minutes of talking to econet lines only,a benefit again.
Of late econet has introduced another platform which enables one to convert his/her $3 worth of airtime into bundles worth of accessing unlimited whatsapp or facebook for 30 days.
The more generous of all these network companies being NetOne which gives its subscribers an hour calls to other netone lines during the day plus free calls all night from 08:00 pm up until 06:00am to netone lines too,all this for dollar and without converting option.
Subscribers not to miss out are now buying all the lines and enjoy all the benefits and its almost a norm that one person can own two/three handsets to accomodate these lines for maximum enjoyment.
“We are enjoying since last year and we are now calling our friends and relatives for less or for free its now different from back then when one would part with a fortune to talk to someone on the phone for some minutes as we are now doing it for just a dollar”,said Artwell from Harare.
Muunga one of the subsribers who owns all lines from these three leading mobile operator companies said:
“Now we can talk for free on calls for even more than 48 hours during the weekend on NetOne lines only if put $5 airtime worth of airtime during the week which comes with other benefits too”,added Muunga.
This have made the easy life of subscribers and cheap as they are just parting with less for much talk on calls.
