Bulawayo Chiefs 2-0 Dynamos FC

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe (News Of The South) – BULAWAYO Chiefs fc gave the Harare giants Dynamos fc a rude awakening call, dispatching and deflating then 2-0 this afternoon in a match that was played at Barbourfields stadium.
Dynamos came to this match with their tails up after collecting 4 points in their previous 2 games they played under Tonderai Ndiraya since the departure of Lloyd Chigowe who was sacked due to poor results. Ndiraya who took over seemed to have struck the right button collecting valuable points in two matches something that eluded Chigowe. Prior to today’s encounter Dynamos were poised to overrun the Bulawayo outfit who seem to be the whipping boys in the league,yet the minors had other ideas,they turned the tables unexpectedly. As underdogs,Chiefs were yet to win a match this season.Ndiraya and his boys were shocked, despite the return of their hot assets from injury and suspension respectively,that did not help in any way.
They went on to lose the match conceding in the second half that is in the 82 and 89minutes to be precise. This came after Ndiraya was still expecting a stern challenge against big teams in the near future as the season progress to test the strength and weakness of his squad since his first two matches were against average teams.
Unfortunately,he fell pitty fully on the wayside against the whipping boys,the minors bringing his progress work plan into disarray since taking over from the lanky, gangly gaffer Lloyd “MaBlanyo” Chigowe.Bulawayo chiefs survived relegation last season and this season they went on to lose most of their talented senior key players who were the backbone of the teams that is Perfect Chikwende and Muleya to other clubs leaving them a depleted weaker side.
The Harare giants lost the approach to the match,a bit of superiority engulfed their squad hence created complacency after their victory in the previous games and their highly rated players,the foreign contigent the likes of Ngandu Mangala,Vincent Mbega and Claud Gahan on its own speaks volumes but alas that did not go as anticipated.
Meanwhile,struggling Bulawayo giants Highlanders fc who are yet to collect their set of maximum points since the start of the season are expected to emulate their City neighboughs Chiefs who dispatched their more fancy strong opponents,sending them to the cleaners.
Highlanders are yet to strike the right code. Their house has been in disorder since the begining of pre season preparations.They want to create a good conducive governance, good working relations among the board, executive, technical team and the players.The Zimbabwean oldest football club has been in deep dilemma with the major factor being a blame game leading to sour relations and this has seriously affected the performance of the players and the technical staff.
Highlanders are rooted in position 17 on the log with a paltry 4 points with a possible 21 from 7 matches played,the worst position and performance for the oldest club in years.Highlanders are playing against the students Herentals fc tomorrow at Barbourfields stadium.
The technical team,players and the fans are hoping and expecting for a change of fortunes in tomorrows game.
