Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. (News of The South) – With only six matches left before the football season ends,the competition has become stiff and hot especially in the top four teams who are tied neck to neck fighting for the prestigious title.

The Harare giants Dynamos fc are leading the pack with 57 points whereas Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum are closely in contention trailing Dynamos by a single point.The two Platinum mining clubs are seating on 56 points.The Bulawayo outfit Chicken inn are on position four with 52 points followed by Caps United with 45 points.
The Glamour boys failed to maximize the opportunity to stay adrift with a 3 points lead gap after being held by the Sunday Chidzamba coached outfit at Nyamhunga stadium on Saturday.The home team ZPC Kariba was the first to draw first blood when Never Tigere propelled them ahead after some good exchanges with Raphael Manuvire before the former drilling home a beauty in the 25th minute.
Dynamos fc forced a come back few minutes later leveling terms through their dependable midfielder Denver Mukamba.
The draw enabled the Platinum mining teams to cover the gap after managing to collect maximum points with Ngezi Platinum beating Bulawayo City 1-0 at Barbourfields stadium on Saturday whilst FC Platinum managed to beat Highlanders 2-1 at the same venue on Sunday with goals from from Mkhokheli Dube and Ali Sadiki whilst the home side goal was scored by non other than Simon Munawa.
The game cocks Chicken inn were held to 1-1 stalemate at Maglas by Shabanie Mine on Friday which left the Rahman Gumbo coached side rooted at 52 points trailing the log leaders Dynamos by 5 points.Chicken inn are now hoping that the top three teams will lose some of their matches whilst they win all their remaining matches in order for them to win the title.
At this stage,it is the moment where experience depth and endurance counts,to both the coaches and the players.There is no more room for experiments.All the top four teams are led by the youthful coaches,that is Lloyd Mutasa for Dynamos,Tonderai Ndiraya Ngezi Platinum, Norman Mapeza FC Platinum and the nomadic Rahman Gumbo for Chicken inn,Gumbo has seen it all, locally and outside the country. Winning the Championship with several clubs.Only time will tell who will be the winner at the end of the season but Lloyd Mutasa seems to be the main man to lift the title considering his teams consistency although is set to face a stiff challenge from the three teams,FC Platinum,Ngezi Platinum and Chicken inn with Caps United being a dark horse.
