Harare, Zimbabwe (News of the South) – Former Zanu-PF Masvingo Provincial chairman Ezra Chadzamira has romped to victory in the by-elections held on Saturday according to unconfirmed interim results obtained.
Chadzamira routed Mutero Masanganise who had earlier on withdrawn his candidature and threatened legal action if his name was included on the ballots for the elections.
Masanganise said the use of his name as a candidate would be “mischievous, illegal and scandalous” because he had not offered himself as a candidate.
According to him the elections have been ‘manipulated process’ which he won’t be part of.
Zanu-PF however disregarded his issue and went ahead to pit him against Chadzamira who obviously routed him nyangwe thousands.
