The Bulawayo Youthful side Bantu Rovers was the first team to be relegated from the topflight league after a 5-0 demolition by a fully charged Harare City at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Methembe Ndlovu owned side who are the whipping boys in Premier soccer league,were in the opening stages of the season received a baptism of fire with a 6-1 drubbing by Chicken inn.
Bantu Rovers a developmental side with the majority of their players ranging from 15-18 years of age. Mathembe Ndlovu whose aim is to tame, nurture and develop young talent seem to be not amused by the state of affair at the club which led to their relegation and losing matches.
He managed to send two of his players Chirinda and Bukhosi Sibanda to South Africa to join South African lower teams playing for promotion to the ABSA super diski,with their former skipper Sibanda the standing club top goal scorer and the long time goal chat with 10 goals before a couple of weeks were he was overtaken by Entouba Epoupa and of late by Lot Chiwunga and Dominic Chungwa with 11 for Epoupa whilst Dominic and Chiwunga at 12 goals.Bantu Rovers who are anchoring the log standing with 13 points needed nothing short of victory to remain in contention for the top flight league next season.
Bantu with just 13 points can only reach 31 points if they can manage to win their remaining six matches that won’t help them because they will still be relegated.
Despite losing matches frequently Bantu Rovers pinned to their policy of fielding the youthful side through out the thin and thick situation,notable their 15 year old Sibusiso Moyo a pupil in a local high school.Zibusiso terrorized seasoned players especially their match against Highlanders where they played a goalless draw at Barbourfields stadium.
