Zimbabwe People First political party led by Ambassador Agrippa Mutambara has today announced its interim appointments following the deflection of some party members to MDC Alliance.
n a press statement issued by ZimPF newly appointed National Spokesperson Stephen Mazanza the recent development were prompted by some political members who joined the Chamisa led MDC at a time when the party pulled out of the Alliance.
“As we all know that zim pf on the 27th of may pulled out of the mdc alliance; some of our members decided not stay and join the mdc led by Nelson chamisa.”
The latest appointments will run on interim basis until the party holds a congress which will inevitably pave way for party elections for new leadership.
“By doing so they have left a vaccum in our party leadership until we have elections for the new party leadership the following appointments have been made for the progress of the party on interim/ caretaker basis.”
Ambassador Mutambara remains the party president while stephen mazanza becomes spokesperson and national youth chairperson.
