(News of The South) – Zimfirst and the President Dr Shumba are excited to announce the appointment of Mr Norman Mhere as the Presidental spokesman. Mr Mhere, an Economics lecturer in South Africa, is a seasoned political activist, a pro democracy Pan-Africanist who is an excellent communicator.

Mr Mhere comes from a background of student activism and has been consistent in his fight against Zanu PF and all forms of oppression. He is well versed with the Zimbabwean political discourse and will bring a refreshing momentum in communicating the President’s mind and Zimfirst’s position on contemporary political questions.

According to Shumba, Mhere will work closely with the media team to disseminate information and lay bare the progressive ideas behind Zimfirst. Nyika Vanhu, Vanhu Ndiyo Nyika,
Abantu Lilizwe, Ilizwe Ngabantu, iNyika Mbantu., Bantu ndiNyika, Inyika Banhu, Banhu ndiyo Inyika, Chalo ni Bantu, Bantu ni Chalo.
