The people of Zimbabwe have been on the receiving end of political disappointment and political deceit since the inception of the Republic. The end of White minority rule in 1980 ushered in a new brood of ruthless political gladiators whose only wish is self-aggrandisement at the expense of all citizens.
The inception of the MDC in 1999 gave citizens a modicum of hope only for that hope to turn into disappointment as the MDC morphed into a replica of Zanu PF in terms of intolerance, thugocracy and corruption in our local authorities. The MDC in all it’s different forms, surnames and totems has simply monumentally failed the people of Zimbabwe. Anyone who cares to look at the Zimbabwean political landscape can see that MDC has reached the point where it is joining Zanu PF in the darkest corner of the Zimbabwean political museum.
Our history has taught us that there is no one else who can change our political, economic and social fortunes except ourselves. This is why we, at Zimfirst have decided to rejuvenate the struggle and provide answers to the glaring and burning national contemporary questions. Zimfirst has made a clarion call to citizens call to citizens all over the globe to come and coalesce around the sacred ideas of unity, transparency, justice, liberty, hard work and fearlessness and national progress. Citizens around the globe have and are responding to the call in their large numbers and we are clear that the time has come for total liberation and emancipation of the people of Zimbabwe. Our focus is not limited to send Zanu PF packing with all its hegemony. We go beyond and above dismissing Zanu PF and all that evil it stands for to rebuilding our country in peace, freedom celebrating our national diversity.
The leadership team in Zimfirst has consulted the citizens, they have listened and are now clear what needs to be done both pre and post Zanu PF era. We have no illusion whatsoever on what needs to be done to dismember the diabolic Zanu PF machinery. We have what it takes to take on Zanu PF as we stand together with the people of Zimbabwe armed with truth and sincerity.
Zimfirst is therefore stating it here and now that all citizens are welcome to join and work hand in glove with us to break the chains as we move to totally transform and rebuild our great nation.
