Zimbabwean international and Kaizer Chiefs midfield kingpin Willard Katsande will not be available for selection for Chiefs ahead of their away league tie against Ajax Cape Town due to suspension.

Amakhosi takes on Ajax in the mother city on Tuesday.

Katsande is serving a one match suspension after picking up his fourth yellow card in the ill tempered 1-1 draw with Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates last month.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter will also have to do without chief striker and prolific goal getter Knowledge Musona who is out with a shoulder injury and Kaizer Motaung Junior knee who is sidelined with a knee injury.

Baxter is wary of the potential damage that the Urban warriors can cause if his charges take them lightly stating that his team can do that at their own peril.

“Sometimes they play very good football,” Baxter told his club’s official website.

“They have the points so far in the league but they are not happy with their log position. Ajax have done well in many games.”

The Briton added: “It is important to go out there and do the job. It will be folly of us to think that we are untouchable and we can’t lose. They beat us there last season (3-1).”

Chiefs are sixth on the table with 12 points – three points behind leaders Moroka Swallows, who have played an extra match, and six in front of 14th-placed Ajax.
