Harare, Zimbabwe (News of The South)- Prominent Zimbabwean business leader Busisa Moyo has been inducted into the prestigious Zimbabwe Business Hall of Fame, marking a significant milestone in his career. The award, presented on April 4th, 2025, recognises Moyo’s impactful contributions to the Zimbabwean business landscape.
Moyo shared his heartfelt appreciation on LinkedIn, expressing his humility at receiving the honor in his home country. Looking ahead, the visionary leader outlined ambitious plans for the next decade, aiming to expand his business footprint across the African continent and on a global scale.
“Humbled to receive this honor in my country Zimbabwe as we launch out into the next 10 years to leave our footprint across the continent and the globe!” Moyo stated in his post. He emphasized the need for a new era of African business, characterized by “new names, new proverbs, new stories across the African landscape, different models of sharing wealth prosperity with allies, stakeholders, consumers and communities.”
Reflecting on his journey, Moyo acknowledged reaching his 50th year as a “mile marker,” recognizing the significant work that still lies ahead. He candidly admitted to past mistakes but highlighted the valuable lessons learned over the past decade, which will undoubtedly inform his future endeavors. With a forward-looking perspective, Moyo concluded his message by “looking above!” as he embarks on this next chapter.
