On Thursday Zimbabwe (News Of The South)- Zimbabweans joined the rest of the world in commemorating the Workers’ Day the very time the country is faced by a shrinking industrial retrenchment.
The commemorations were held under the theme, ” Workers Intensify The Struggle, No To Labour Market Flexibility.
In its statistics, The Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries ( CIZ) says industrial capacity utilisation remains subdued between 25% and 45%.
The government’s retrogressive policies like the indigenisation policy has been the major catalyst to the economic meltdown
