Blame us it doesnt matter, history has always absolved us. There was so much hope from certain lobbyists, yet ultimately there is so much disappointment that makes all teachers sick, irrespective of their union affiliation.
Yes the ultimate result from the absolete, archaic and moribund Apex Council is 20% salary increase. To expect anything good from Apex Council is just like expecting to harvest apples from a thorn tree or blessings from Satan.
The clueless Apex then urinates upon teachers and tell them its raining. How Apex Council wishes to consult teachers of an offer that falls far short of their minimum requirement of US$520 baffles logic and common sense. We are aware that an improved percentage would be offered by gvt in the next meeting in order to breath life into the lifeless Apex but even that would still be far less than US$520.
We advice gvt to decist from its firefighting romance with Apex Council.
Parents must continue to withdraw their own children* from schools until a solution between gvt and teachers is found.
The United Front of Teachers* remains the best way forward for teachers at this historical juncture. Indeed the United Front is geared for protracted incapacitation come rain come sunshine. The longer it takes for gvt to find a lasting solution, the more radicalised teachers would become.
We wish to highlihht the fact that there has been increased intimidation of our members over filmsy excuses like violation of telecommunication Act. While our members must never insult cowards irrigating in their pants, mere pointing that Mr X is reporting for work when other teachers are incapacitated is not an insult but a fact. We want to advice all and sundry to apply the law appropriately, and will never abandon our members. No amount of force and threats would stop incapacitation, whose time is now.
Our best foot forward that Ptuz will continue to amplify as part of the United Front of Teachers is to remain in the incapacitation struggle.
