How Mine 0 -1 Dynamos (Brigton Dube O.G)
Caps United 1-1 ZPC Kariba
Hwange 4 -1 Buffaloes
Shabanie Mine 3 – 0 Triangle United
Dynamos started its title defending with a hard fought win against a stubborn but wasteful How Mine at a match played Sunday afternoon at Luveve stadium.
A late own goal from Brighton Dube in the 88 minute was enough for Dynamos to take home all the three points which were on offer.
How Mine have themselves to blame as they failed to utilise its numerous chances with Kudakwashe Mushure being the main culprit.
If it was not of the wasteful How Mine attack and the good work done by Dynamos’ giant goal keeper George Chigova the game was to have been buried in the first half.
Dynamos failed to command the game but it later picked itself slightly when Devon Chafa was introduced in the second half and changed the course of the game.
Though it was defeated How Mine showed its composure through out the match with their youthful goal-keeper Nonjabulo Dube being the talk of the day as he sent the terraces wild when he chipped the ball over Simba Sithole’s heard with brilliance and confidence.
