Zimbabwe Mourns a Dedicated Diplomat: Liberation Hero Status Conferred on John Ushe

The official confirmation of his hero status is conveyed in a letter dated May 21st, 2025, signed by the Secretary General of ZANU PF, Cde Dr. O.M. Mpofu. The letter, addressed to Mr. Ushe’s family, acknowledges his contribution to the liberation struggle, stating that he died on May 6th, 2025, and will be buried in Chivhu District under Mashonaland East Province.
