News of the South HARARE – Zimbabwe is set to host the 2019 edition of with hosting rights being provisional until Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) confirms government support for the regional competition.
Zimbabwe who are record holders of the competition with six titles, retained the cup in 2018.
The annual tournament has been scheduled for the 19th of May to the 1st of June which is just a few days before the Africa cup of Nations kicks off.
Cosafa Secretary General, Sue Destombes believes Zimbabwe are poised to host the biggest ever Cosafa Cup after revelations that it could become a 16-team competition this year.
