Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – THE Zimbabwe Nurses Association has partnered with some prominent Zimbabwean musicians for a fundraising concert dubbed “Sing for Health Concert” to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) tonight (Saturday).

The gig, which will start at 7 pm till late, will see none other than the Superstar himself, Oliver Mtukudzi, leading the line-up of performers including men of the moment Jah Prayzah and Killer T, while Suluman Chimbetu, Sabastian Magacha and DJ Lyaness make up the rest of the list.

Tuku is not new to health events such as this one and no wonder why he was appointed Unicef’s Goodwill Ambassador for Women and Children through his songs which speak against the spread of HIV and Aids, child abuse and domestic violence.

Songs like “Todii?”, “Kwaita Mabasa”, among others, aptly fit into the theme of the night and with Tuku himself being an advocate for good health, the concert is likely to live up to its billing.
Jah Prayzah is one of the most sought-after aritstes in Zimbabwe at the moment and his inclusion on the line-up does justice to the show since he is a big drawcard and there is an assurance that he will lure his legion of fans to the concert.

Fans should brace for a Tuku-Jah Prayzah duet on stage since the artistes have had some collaborations before and they will without doubt be a marvel to watch.

Dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu will also take the opportunity to introduce his latest album “Jamboree” to the crowd while at the same time dishing out his catalogue of hit songs like “Non-Stop”, “Batai Munhu” alongside those golden oldies by his late father Simon.

“Ngoma Ndaimba” hitmaker, Killer T will represent the Zim-Dancehall genre and the young man is currently on top of his game with a string of hit songs like “Takazvarwa Takangodaro” which are making waves in entertainment circles.

Revellers will be ushered into praise and worship when talented gospel singer Sabastian Magacha takes to the stage to do what he knows best.

“The concert is meant to raise funds which will go a long way in improving the operations of the Zimbabwe Nurses’ Association,” said one of the organisers.
2 Kings are co-coordinating the the show which is calling for an entrance fee of $10.
