THE Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) enters the fifth year as nominations are now open to choose Zimbabweans in the UK who have worked hard to deserve the 2015 honours.
The glamour filled red carpet event will be held in London on Saturday May 9 at the Royal Garden Hotel Kensington.
Brian Nyabunze, ZAA Executive Director, said 2015 `s awards will benefit from the ever rising achievements of the Zimbabwean community, which is increasingly making its positive presence felt in mainstream British society.
“From our professionals working in various fields to our artistes, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and charities, Zimbabwean talent is shining through every barrier and making its presence felt in our host society. These are the kind of achievers we will have the honour of recognising this year,” Nyabunze said.
“The reviews we received for ZAA 2014 were hugely positive and our guests told of how they luxuriated in the beautiful ambience of the Royal Garden Hotel. And so when it came to picking a venue for our fifth anniversary, it was a no brainer,” Nyabunze added.
Nominations are open until February 15.
Tickets for the event are already on sale and going for a price of £69.95 and will be sold till February 15.
The first edition of ZAA was launched in South Africa recently and Harare is the next stop where a launch is expected later in the year.
