Harare, Zimbabwe. (News Of The South) – Pressure is mounting on the First Lady Grace Mugabe as a group of ZANU PF youths who supports Mnagangwa have also come guns blazing against her.

Reading a statement at a press conference in Harare on Tuesday , suspended ZANU PF youth leader for Mashonaland Central Godfrey Tsenangami said President Mugabe should ‘restrain’ his wife.

“Cde President we pledge with you to as our leader to rein restrain our respected mother ,your wife for the good of the party and for your legacy,” said Tsenangami.

The press conference was dubbed ‘The Save ZANU PF’ campaign and was attended by some suspended ZANU PF youths leaders like Godfrey Gomwe and Vengai Musengeyi.

Tsenangami said that had it been that First Lady Grace Mugabe was a politician they could have confronted her.

“ Mr President had it been that she was a politician and not your wife, we could have stopped her right in her tracks,” dared the youth leader.

The statement implies that the First Lady’s tirade is to protect her ‘interests’ and warned that ‘don’t make us confront you’.

Tsenangami also said that the First Lady is not the party or state authority and should not abuse her position as the secretary of the Women’s League.

“A doctor’s wife is not a doctor neither is a driver’s wife a driver,”fumed Tsenangami.
The group also tore into the Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko,Jonathan Moyo and Saviour Kasukuwere.

“Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko you should not drag yourself into this child fights and tribal wars. For Kasukuwere and Jonathan Moyo and the rest of G40 you should stop your manipulations and we will bring you down to size,” uttered the youth leader.

These remarks comes after the war veterans on Monday blasted First Lady Grace Mugabe, Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko and Zanu PF national commissar Saviour Kasukuwere for allegedly abusing State resources by holding whirlwind countrywide tours to prop up their G40 faction.

Speaking to journalists in the capital, Mutsvangwa’s group threatened to “go to war” to stop the G40 from controlling party issues.

Mutsvangwa was speaking at an emotionally charged emergency ZNLWVA national executive meeting where members openly chanted “Pasi neG40!” (Down with G40!)

The War Veterans minister and his executive were allegedly booted out over the weekend for alleged indiscipline and immediately replaced by an interim team led by Manicaland Provincial Affairs minister
Mandiitawepi Chimene. But Mutsvangwa and his team have defied the suspension which they described as illegal.
